This template

Colours: Dots #12492f, corners #0a301f, background #f6fcf8.
Contrast: 10.0:1 between the dots and the background. Above 4.5:1 reads reliably in dim rooms; plain black on white is 21:1.
Shapes: Octagon dots and square corners. The corner squares keep a crisp outer edge, which phone scanners use to find the code.
Frame: Framed card reading "Join The Chat". A short instruction next to a code gets more scans than a code alone.
Extras: A thin outline around every dot in #144852.
Palette: Terminal green: see every style in this palette.
Good for: Developer tools, hackathons and meetups.
