What happens to my codes if I cancel?
They keep working. Every dynamic code keeps sending people to the last link you set, for as long as we run. What stops: changing the link and recording new scans. Resubscribe and both come back, same codes, nothing to reprint. We never show ads, "this code has expired" pages or anything else in front of your customers.
What if you ever shut down?
We will give at least 12 months' notice by email, a full export of your codes and scan history, and a plain static version of every code that points straight at your link so you can reprint without us.
Will an art code really scan?
Every code is checked by three independent decoders under 16 conditions before you see it: several print sizes, soft focus, low-contrast print, a dim room, a phone held at an angle, JPEG compression, shadows and noise. If it fails, we make it again automatically. We still suggest a test print and a scan before a big print run.
What is the difference between static and dynamic?
A static code prints your link itself. It works forever with no account and can never be changed. A dynamic code prints a short link of ours that forwards to yours, so you can change where it goes and count scans.
How small can I print it?
We recommend at least 1 in (2.5 cm) for anything scanned at arm's length, 2 in for table tents and 8-12 in for yard signs scanned from the street. A simple rule: the scanning distance divided by 10.
Which files do I get?
PNG at 300 dpi, PDF at the exact print size with a trim margin, and SVG at the exact size. Art codes are pictures, so the SVG holds a 300 dpi image; plain codes from the free tool are true vector SVG.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Within 7 days of any payment, press "Refund my last payment" on your billing page. It is automatic and cancels the plan.
Do you limit scans?
Never on redirects: your printed codes keep working no matter how many people scan. Each plan includes a monthly number of tracked scans for analytics, which is generous for one business.
Can ChatGPT or Gemini make this?
They can draw something that looks like a QR code, but image models redraw the pattern, so the result usually does not scan. They also cannot host a link you can change later or count scans. We generate the art, then repair and test the code until it reads.
Do you track the people who scan?
We record the time, approximate city (from the internet address, which we do not store), device type and browser. No names, no cookies on your customers, no selling data.
How do I contact you?
Most answers are on this page. For anything else, reply to any email we send you; replies are read and answered by email.
