This template

Colours: Dots #1e4d3a, corners #133226, background #fdfcf6.
Contrast: 9.4:1 between the dots and the background. Above 4.5:1 reads reliably in dim rooms; plain black on white is 21:1.
Shapes: Rounded dots and soft corners. The corner squares keep a crisp outer edge, which phone scanners use to find the code.
Frame: Label below reading "Dinner Menu". A short instruction next to a code gets more scans than a code alone.
Extras: The label sits above the code. A small scan icon beside the label.
Palette: Bistro green: see every style in this palette.
Good for: Bistros, delis and wine bars.
