This template

Colours
Dots #7a2e2e, corners #511d1d, background #fff9f6.
Contrast
8.9:1 between the dots and the background. Above 4.5:1 reads reliably in dim rooms; plain black on white is 21:1.
Shapes
Dots dots and leaf corners. The corner squares keep a crisp outer edge, which phone scanners use to find the code.
Frame
Framed card reading "Reading Log". A short instruction next to a code gets more scans than a code alone.
Extras
A radial gradient on the dots: #7a2e2e to #7a2e5e.
Palette
Storybook brown: see every style in this palette.
Good for
Children libraries, story hours and book fairs.
