Is EAN-13 the same as UPC-A?
A UPC-A is an EAN-13 that starts with 0. US scanners read both.
Do the first digits show where a product was made?
No. They show which national GS1 office issued the company prefix.
Can I sell on Amazon with an EAN?
Marketplaces check numbers against the GS1 database, so use numbers issued to your company.
