Your code appears here as you type.

Make it art and keep it editable

The free code above prints your link as-is. With Art QR Codes you get a painted code that three decoders test before you see it, a link you can change after printing, and a count of every scan.

Tips for Google reviews codes

  • Put it on the receipt, the takeout bag and the table tent: ask while the meal is fresh.
  • Do not offer anything in exchange for reviews; Google does not allow it.
  • Print at least 1 in wide for arm's length, 2 in on tables, 8 in or more on signs read from a distance.

Google reviews QR codes: the facts

What the code holds
Your Google review link (g.page/r/... /review). In Google Business Profile choose "Ask for reviews" or "Get more reviews" and copy it.
Print size
1 to 1.5 in on receipts and cards, 2 in on counter signs, 4 in on door signs.
Scan distance
In hand or at the counter, 1 to 2 ft.
What breaks it
The rules, more than the print. Google does not allow review gating (asking only happy customers) or rewards for reviews, and the FTC's 2024 rule bars rewards that depend on the review being positive. Ask everyone, offer nothing.

Questions

Can I give a discount for a Google review?
No. Google's policies forbid incentives for reviews, and in the US the FTC treats reviews bought with rewards tied to a positive opinion as deceptive. Just ask.
Can the code send only happy customers to Google?
No. Filtering who gets asked ("review gating") is against Google's policies. Ask every customer the same way.
Can I change where my Google reviews QR code goes after printing?
Yes, if you make it dynamic. The printed code points at a short link we keep for you, and you can change the destination any time from your dashboard. A free static code prints the link itself and can never change.
Can my Google reviews QR code look like art?
Yes. We paint it in a style you choose, then test it with three decoders under 16 print and phone conditions before you can download it.
Does it expire?
Free static codes never expire. Dynamic codes keep redirecting to your last link even if you cancel your plan.
